The paddle is designed to mix silicone (or epoxy resin) more gently and evenly, reducing the incorporation of air during mixing.
Unlike a stick or overly vigorous mixing, its shape allows the silicone to move smoothly, limiting the formation of vortices and therefore air bubbles.
The paddle can be used by hand; when mounted on a screwdriver or drill with variable speed control, it enables faster mixing.
