Matte red solvent-based lacquer. Available in 0.75 kg and 4 kg containers.
Simply dip the candle once into the lacquer, holding it by the wick. After a few minutes, the lacquer will be dry.
For a more intense color, two dips can be done.
Complete polymerization of the lacquer occurs within 24 hours.
Note for proper use:
- Scrape the bottom of the can with a rubber spatula, then mix very well with a whisk or mixer. The pigment normally settles at the bottom, so it must be dispersed before use.
- The temperature of the lacquer and the candle should be around 20 °C, and humidity should not exceed 60%.
- Dip the candle by the wick or pour the lacquer over the candle using a ladle.
Warning: The lacquer works very well on paraffin candles. For candles with vegetable wax, test to ensure it dries properly. DO NOT use on scented candles!
