Made of double-walled stainless steel, it uses an indirect heating system through a water jacket, which allows heat to be distributed more evenly and reduces the risk of localized overheating of the wax.

Use as a beeswax sterilizer

The melter can also be used as a heat treatment system for beeswax. By replacing the water in the jacket with high-temperature heat transfer oil, the system can reach temperatures higher than those normally achievable with water.

In this configuration, it can be used to bring beeswax to temperatures of around 120 °C, when required by the heat treatment process.

When using heat transfer oil, it is essential to use only fluids compatible with the equipment and follow the technical and safety instructions regarding temperature, pressure, and fluid properties.
