How to use:
- check that the temperature of the silicone and catalyst is at least 25°C (if it has been stored at lower temperatures, for example in winter, heat it by placing it on a heat source such as a radiator)
- carefully mix the liquid silicone rubber with the 5% catalyst supplied with a spatula (for example 50 g for 1 kg of silicone) - Attention: from the moment the catalyst is added to the silicone you only have 10 minutes to pour it on the model to be reproduced
- pour into the container where the object to be reproduced was placed (fix the object to the bottom of the container with glue)
- wait 5-6 hours for the silicone to harden (during these hours the temperature must remain around 25°C - if the temperature is lower the hardening time will be longer)
To speed up the hardening you can either increase the percentage of catalyst a little (up to 6.5/7%) or put the finished piece (silicone mixed with the catalyst and shape to be copied) in the oven at 50/60°C.
