Melter equipped with a removable steel container where the wax is placed (dimensions: diameter 21 cm, height 25 cm approximately); this steel cylinder is inserted into the melter where it comes into contact with approximately 0.8 litres of water.
The water is heated to the temperature set on the thermostat and the heat from the water is transferred to the steel cylinder containing the wax.
This type of heating (also called bain-marie in Italian) allows the wax to be heated more slowly and does not undergo strong and sudden heating which could lead to partial oxidation of the wax.
